Our trip to Cardoso Island was very exciting. It is located on the south coast of São Paulo, and is a part of Cananéia. We spent three to four hours to get there. The driver took Rodovia Regis Bittencourt, until the city of Cananéia.
When we arrived in Cananéia, we stayed in a small hotel called Golfinho Plaza. It is a simple rustic accomodation.
When we went to visit Cardoso Island we took a boat and it sailed very slowly. The weather was very good.
When you go there you can see beautiful animals like crabs and dolphigs. In the mangrove there are alligators. For you go to the mangrove you have to take old clothes, because you will get full of mud!
In Cardoso Island you can go snorkling, hiking or go around the Island by boat.
People who live there eat rice, beans, meat, chicken, but fish is the typical dish.
You would have to take a jacket, a hat, a raincoat, comfortable t-shirts and a pair of tennis shoes.
There are lots of insects in the region, so don't forget to take an insect repellent.
In Cardso Island there is beautiful landscap so don't forget your camera, because This is an amazing place to visit.
